Market Squares 

One of the things I loved most about my time in Europe this past summer was spending time in markets. Abuzz with activity, sounds and smells, open market squares were the perfect place to soak up culture and do a little shopping at the same time. Las Ramblas and the Boqueria

Happy Friday! I can’t believe it was now two weeks ago that I was in Spain. Today I thought it would be fun to take a little walk down memory lane to our last day of the trip. We ended our time in Barcelona and after a full day of sightseeing it was perfect to enjoy a few hours to strolling down Las Ramblas, a hustle and bustle pedestrian street lined with shops and restaurants. Mercado de San Miguel 

This by far has been one of my favorite places in Spain. The Mercado de San Miguel is a small food market tucked behind the Plaza Mayor.     After walking around the city all day it was great to take a little break in this lively market place. There was excellent people watching, and delicious foods and drinks to be had.  What I loved best about the Marcado was the buzz of activity that surrounded you as soon as you walkedthrough the doors.
